Ramat HaHayal – literally “Soldiers’ Hill” – is a business neighbourhood in the north-eastern side of Tel Aviv. Notably, this area is home to the largest private health care compound in Israel, the Assuta Medical Center.
Several high-tech companies have headquarters and offices in Ramat HaHayal too – some of them include Nokia, Comverse, Ness Technologies, Alvarion, Infibond, Laminate Medical Technologies, Corephotonics, and Rad Bynet.
The neighbourhood is lively and youthful, boasting all kinds of eateries, bars, and cafes, as well as live music clubs. It is also a great destination for street food. Walk around and observe the modern architecture of Ramat HaHayal and its carefully landscaped thoroughfares. Spend some time relaxing in the city park and don’t ignore the variety of shops and boutiques in the neighbourhood.
Ramat HaHayal was inhabited since the Bronze Age as archaeological digs from 1997 revealed.
